Staff Changes, Saying goodbye to Nancy

“If nothing ever changed, then there’d be no butterflies.” -Unknown

We are sad to announce that Nancy will be leaving Cedarhill Farm staff as of August 31.  Nancy first joined the CFI staff as show secretary in 2018.  In the fall of 2021 when CFI was looking for a new barn manager, Nancy offered to help fill the gap.  She joined CFI full time in December 2021 as the office manager and assistant trainer.  In May 2022, when the new barn manager left, Nancy stepped forward and took on that role.  She was always looking for ways to help when the need arose: refreshing her knowledge of towing trailers, learning to drive the 6 horse, learning to operate the dump trailer in order to deliver mulch, and so much more!   She brought an infectious positive attitude and laughter that could be heard throughout the barn.  Most people don’t know that long before Nancy enrolled her daughter, Gracie, as a rider at Cedarhill Farm in 2011, she rode at Cedarhill when it was owned by Nora Cooke.  Needless to say, CFI will always be her happy place!  We wish her all the joy and success in her next endeavor.

We will be announcing Nancy’s replacement shortly. Stay tuned!
