Dear Cedarhill Families,
First we want to say thank you for taking our Covid-19 protocol so seriously. With continued efforts from all of our riders we will try to keep the barn open and operating. Mecklenburg County has issued a stay at home order effective this morning. We are in Union County which has yet to set restrictions so we will be open for lessons and riding for those who choose to participate. To all of our Mecklenburg residents this choice is at your own discretion. In an effort to minimize risk we are going to ask that those boarders and leasers coming to just hack Monday – Thursday do so before 10am or after 4pm- see the schedule. We have set up a Google Sheet time table available through the blog to signup for hacking times Friday – Sunday. This is on your honor as staff will not be present to regulate. Please remember to Lysol wipe hoses, cross ties, bathroom, tack, etc. Also, please respect the 2 hour time limit (ideally less is more). Keep the barn a safe space. Things are changing daily and we will do our best to communicate any changes in our policy. Our commitment is to safety first, maintaining the fitness of our horses, and the sanity of our riders!
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we move through these interesting times and remember to wash your hands!
