Join us at our annual Christmas party- Friday, Dec 19th at 7pm, once again to be held at the Guzinski home at the end of the property across the creek. We will have a sign up on Sign UP Genius for everyone to let us know what covered dish they will be bringing. This is a party as much for the parents as for the kids. Lots of fun, it is great to be together outside of the barn environment.
Special request for everyone parking- drive all the way up, drop off your passengers and then drive down. Now facing out, park your car on the diagonal with your back trunk towards the fence. That ensures that nobody is blocked, and nobody tries to turn around on the driveway (I had a lot of my bushes mowed down in the dark, unbeknownst to our guests)
The kids (and some adults) will do the gift exchange. We have been calling it Secret Santa but I believe it really correctly should be called The White Elephant Exchange. Everyone who is participating puts a wrapped gift into the pile and draws a number. The first to go draws from the pile. The next one to play can also choose from the pile, or steal from the one who went previous. If you are the unlucky one stolen from, you may only pick from the pile. Obviously the last one to go has their pick of all the presents- unless the gift has been stolen three times- the maximum it is allowed to be taken.
Our Christmas Break will start Christmas eve- December 24, and go through January 1st. Check with us, we might offer some lessons during those days if it all works out.
