Hello all, my brother sent this request in a form of a letter to me. With all that is going on in the world, requests are being made to us all, from everyone, all the time and this is no different. Nonetheless I am obliging my brother as this is something dear to him and Mr Rex and he are close. I have donated to the cause, essentially the cost of a riding lesson that will mean a lot to Mr Rex (and in turn, my brother) Thank you for your consideration.
From my brother Eric – Mr. Rex is my neighbor and a kind man who has faced more than his share of hardship. When I first met him five years ago, he was preparing for surgery on his foot. Sadly, due to a series of medical errors, he endured several more surgeries, and ultimately, his leg had to be amputated. Despite these challenges, Mr. Rex has always tried to stay positive and independent.
Now, at over 65 years old, Mr. Rex is living on Social Security, which simply isn’t enough to cover his basic needs. His electricity is about to be disconnected again, and I worry that he is also behind on other important bills like gas and internet. On top of that, he and his wife are struggling to afford groceries. It’s heartbreaking to see someone who has already been through so much facing these daily worries.
I am reaching out to our community to ask for help. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward keeping the lights on, paying for gas and internet, and making sure Mr. Rex and his wife have enough food. Your support can make a real difference in their lives and help them stay safe and comfortable in their home. Thank you so much for any help you can give.
Mr. Rex has been a pillar in our community, always showing kindness despite the hardships, he has faced. After enduring multiple surgeries and the loss of his leg, he now struggles to make ends meet on a limited Social Security income. It’s heartbreaking to see him and his wife worry about basic necessities like electricity, gas, and food.
Your support can help keep their home safe and comfortable. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward paying their bills and ensuring they have enough to eat. Let’s come together to help Mr. Rex during this difficult time.
Thank you for considering a contribution.
Best regards,
Eric Karns
