For those not familiar with Rati; she is a cute girl who rode regularly at Cedarhill Farm with Taylor up until she lost her balance and fell off. It was a serious enough fall for her to get a more thorough check up. It was then that Rati and her family discovered the real reason that Rati had fallen off, not because she looked down and took her leg off, but because she had an advanced stage of brain cancer that was effecting her balance. Our families were wonderful, providing support and encouragement as she and her family went on doctor after doctor, with an extended stay at St Judes Children’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee.
This is a note from Rati’s Dad with a quick update:
We just returned to the hospital apartment from the infusion ICU on Thursday night. Two monthly cycles of chemo are done and two more to go. The second cycle was bad with six infusions of Blood and platelets but hey, we just made it to halfway mark and are praying for the next two Cycles to go a bit easier on her body.
You and the rest of her Cedarhill Farm friends have supported Rati throughout our fight against this Cruel, Cruel disease. Any encouraging comments on her page, for Rati in support are sincerely welcome.
Cancer may have 2018 but Rati WILL return home and with the support & compassion of Friends, Family and Doctors, have the rest of what God gave us as Life.
Thank you.
We hope that all of our Cedarhill riders and their families can check out her GoFund me page, donate what you can, and write lots of notes of encouragement.
