Florida-
The Florida dates don’t seem to have gained any traction which is disappointing, I always enjoy a new venue from the usual Tryon and Aiken show facilities, as well as the warmer weather during that time of year. I also like competing against new horses and riders to see how we compare. Nonetheless I understand that this is a more expensive proposition, with more logistics to manage than the normal, more local venues.
Since those two weeks were the only shows in February, we will add the Highfields PSJ A Show February 7-9, assuming we aren’t going to Florida.
Blowing Rock-
Always a favorite with the great cool mountain weather during the heat of the summer this AA Show has great hospitality with exhibitor parties daily, viewing boxes with seating in the two tier Gazebo, and the access to great trails in the Blowing Rock Preserve. It also is a well run show that hosts great competition. Earning a ribbon at Blowing Rock is no easy feat.
To sign up for this show you must pay for both weeks, regardless if you only attend one week. The only exception is if you find someone to share the week that you aren’t attending. If that is the case, please give me both checks at the same time. Last year I ended up paying for stalls that weren’t used which I’m not doing this year. The checks for Blowing Rock stalls will be due mid February or early March.
As always- sign up on the Sign UP Genius page to be counted for the upcoming horse shows you wish to participate in. Remove yourself if you have changed your mind (although if at a late date you might still be obligated for the stall fee)
