We regret to inform our Cedarhill Families that for personal reasons Dr Sam will need to step away from taking care of our horses, at least for the foreseeable future. Dr Sam has had a long history with our horses, some of them for their entire lives and has kept them in fabulous working condition. I am very grateful for all his sage advice, recommendations, and service; knowing that at all times he has had the best intentions for both the horse and their rider. I will miss him. We will see Dr Sam at the Blowing Rock Horse Show, and some of the other shows where we certainly will use him as needed, however we need to honor what is best for all of us and let him step down from his weekly farm visits. In his absence he has recommended Dr Travis Blackwelder of Statesville Equine Clinic to take his place and will be working closely with him to make the transition as smoothly as possible.
