We used to have a Tack Swap that was set up the week prior to our Grassroots horse shows for our riders to tag and set out items for sale. Although it was popular, it was labour intensive for the one who had to set it up and then put it away, along with getting the $ into the correct hands. We also then had to store it in between shows and keep up with it. We no longer wish to do this but nonetheless recognize that we still have a need to find an outlet for outgrown riding clothes.
I’m hoping that perhaps this way might work- Send me a list of any and all items you wish to find a new home for- with as much description as needed- sizes, colors, brands etc, along with your contact info, for me to post on our blog. People interested will contact you directly and set up pick up etc.
I will try to figure out how to put a link to all the items in one place on my web site for people to search for what they are looking for and update the list regularly. This is yet another way to go green and reuse all the riding clothes that our riders out grow far faster than they out wear!
