We apologize for the confusion that Stoney HIll Equine has created via email with individual reminders for vaccinations for your horse. The automatic email system form Stoney Hill must not have been updated. As I let everyone know earlier this year, we have decided to go change vets from Stoney Hill Equine to Tryon Equine for all of our general practice needs. This entails vaccinations, and emergencies only.
Tryon Equine has a great vet – Dr Rachel who lives local in Waxhaw can address any emergency we have which Dr Leslie from Stoney Hill Equine could not.
Meanwhile- we are aware that our horses need their fall shots and their coggins test renewal- which is on the schedule for February 3rd.
Dr Travis with Statesville Equine continues to be our vet of choice for all orthopedic needs. We also still use Dr Sam from Palmetto Equine for acupuncture and EPM concerns .
Bottom line- please disregard any reminders from Stoney Hill Equine.
